Charline's 37th Birthday Fundraiser
This year I'm celebrating my 37th birthday by asking for something that will create lasting impact.
My goal is to raise $37,000 by July 28 to support Birth By Queens' maternity and family wellness mission in and help fund the New York State Certificate of Need process an essential step toward opening the Birth By Queens Birth & Wellness Center. This process alone costs about $30,000.
For the past 15 years, I've dedicated my life to serving families from being a Jumpstart Corps member to supporting parents as a doula. My mission has always been the same: to help families thrive and empower them to do the same for others.
Instead of birthday gifts, I'm asking you to invest in this vision. Whether you give $37, $137, $370, or any amount, every donation brings us closer to making this dream a reality.
Your support will help us:
π Expand our maternity and family wellness initiatives in Haiti this year.
π Cover the costs associated with New York State's Certificate of Need (CON) process, a required step toward opening the Birth By Queens Birth & Wellness Center. This process alone costs approximately $30,000 and is essential to making our vision a reality.
π Continue creating accessible, compassionate, community-centered care for families who deserve safe, respectful birth and wellness services.
If you can't give today, please share this fundraiser. Together, we can create a future where more families have access to compassionate, high-quality birth and wellness.

Official Petition to Build the First Freestanding Birth Center in Queens, NY
Petition to Build the First Freestanding Birth Center in Queens Every Family Deserves a Choice. Every Community Deserves Access. Sign the Petition: Bring the First Freestanding Birth Center to Queens
Queens is home to more than 2.4 million residents and is one of the most diverse counties in the world, yet it remains the largest borough in New York City without a freestanding birth center.
Families in Queens deserve access to safe, evidence-based, community-centered maternity care close to home. They deserve options. They deserve dignity. They deserve a system that supports them from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond.
That is why Birth By Queens Birth & Wellness Center has launched a movement to establish the first freestanding birth center in Queens by December 2027.
